Another series we will have this year is a list of politicians who are so out of touch with reality, that they should really just step aside.
Knowing that won’t happen, perhaps, at least, they’ll be defeated come their re-election campaigns this fall.
First up, the Senator from Oklahoma, James Inhofe (R).
For nothing […]

Hillary Clinton and John McCain, in a tree…
When a Democrat and Republican candidate agree on something these days, they are either horribly right or horribly wrong. In this case, we’ll go with horribly wrong.
Both Senators Clinton and McCain have proposed getting rid of the gas tax for the summer. It is nothing more […]

According to the Politico, U.S. Congressman Lois Capps of California will endorse Senator Obama later today.
This will be three members of congress in one day who will endorse Senator Obama.
According to Claire McCaskill, Senator of MO, she “feel’s good” that Senator Obama has more than enough support amongst remaining unpledged superdelegates on the hill. […]

Citing Obama’s ’strength’ in dealing with the Rev. Wright issue, IN Congressman, Baron Hill, has endorsed Obama this morning.
This now gives Obama the endorsement of two of the five U.S. Congresspersons from IN. Senator Clinton has the endorsement of the state’s largest Democrat, Senator Bayh.
Clinton also picked up the endorsement of an […]

We’re one week away from the last big Tuesday for the Democrats in their Primary elections.
How’s it shaping up?
While many people thought IN would be a tie, I never really thought it to be that way, and it doesn’t appear that it is.
With two new polls out, Clinton is ahead 8 and 9 points, […]

Here’s a horrible story about the detriment and stupidity found within Homeland Security’s new security fence, i.e. Berlin Wall Part II, being built along the border.
Besides the unbelievable notion of building a wall post Berlin (didn’t we just tear one down?) and the anti-immigrant sentiment it proves of many in this country, the environmental […]

There was something little reported form Pennsylvania. While many in the media have tried to pump new life into the Clinton campaign, few reported on the PA Republican primary.
The race was over you say, McCain’s been the nominee for nearly two months. Right you are, the race in the Republican race is over. So, what’s […]

As I continue to roll out my first week of blogs here at the re-launch of StarkedDC, it’s time for another continuing series, which I will label, AMERICA’S BIGGEST POLITICAL LOSERS.
This series will cover the worst politicians in America, those who have no right serving the rest of us.
In today’s edition, we have Colorado State […]

Well, the first polls are out following Clinton’s victory in PA. Did she get a bounce? Does she have the ‘mo’?
Apparently not yet:
According to two new polls, the race is essentially tied, with Obama ahead by one in a Research 2000 poll and 3 in a poll done by the woman who so accurately predicted […]

Following Clinton’s 9 point win on Tuesday, a handful of Superdelegates continue to announce their support. But, as Keith Olbermann has remarked, they’re certainly moving at a glacial pace.
Since Tuesday, Obama has claimed three supers versus Clinton’s one. So far, it seems Clinton’s win hasn’t given her any major advantage with the supers.
Obama’s […]

After last night, Clinton supporters around the country rejoiced. For one more night, it seemed like their candidate might actually make it.
Of course, upon waking up in the morning, the dream quickly wore off.
The facts continue that it is IMPOSSIBLE for Hillary to overtake Obama in the pledged delegates. It is IMPOSSIBLE for Hillary […]

9:50 EST:
Now up to 42%, Clinton’s pulled back to double digits, 55-45, big news for her. Still nothing from Chester or Montgomery Counties in the suburbs of Philly.
9:46 EST:
The numbers are coming in fast now, up to 35% overall. Clinton’s lead has grown again, now up to 8 points, a number that sounds a […]

Also, check back tonight for my live blogging of the PA results. Starting around, say 7 EST or so, I’ll probably begin with some of the exit poll numbers. As the night progresses, I’ll bring up the counties that are in, what to expect as far as margins, what the margins mean, etc…
Until then-

From time to time, I’ll report on all of those events and news stories that are rather ridiculous, yet, worthy of posting due to their political nature.
Today’s needs few words. As some of you may have seen (I know there are closeted wrestling fans out there), the WWE had a Barack vs. Hillary match […]

For my first post, we’ll start with some good ‘ole Pennsylvania Primary predictions. This is a bad idea, especially as a first post, as it’s likely to leave egg on my face as predicting PA is about as hard as being a weatherman in the Midwest.
That being said, here goes:
I call it: Clinton Wins […]

Hello all,
I’m J-Michael, and I’ll be taking over this long neglected political blog.
I suppose I should tell you all a little bit about myself:
Originally a military kid, I was raised throughout the U.S. and Europe. Still, having been born in D.C., I’ve always lived with a sense of federal politics in me.
A writer at […]
