Is Fred Thompson Out to Lunch?

So while watching the weekend talk-shows I overheard something that startled me.

Then on another talk-show I heard it again. Republican Presidential hopeful Fred Thompson said teenagers with improvised explosive devises shoudn’t be able to drive American troops from Iraq.

Okay Fred, why don’t you stand on the front lines and fight off those so-called teenage insurgents if its so easy.

And by chance if we have to leave Iraq with our tail between our legs saying we were wrong, there were in fact no weapons of mass destruction then by golly so be it. Let us get out without another life lost.

We certainly don’t want to have another Vietnam on our hands.
