McCain Adviser: America "(A) Nation of Whiners"

Uh-oh.  PR control, PR control. 

John McCain has been attached to Phil Gramm for much of this campaign as the former Senator acts as one of McCain’s economic advisers. 

Trouble is, today, in an interview with The Washington Times, Phil Gramm accused that nation of being ‘whiners’ over the bad economy.  Gramm wonderfully points out that all we do is complain as the economy is growing by 1%, so what’s there to complain about.

Well, let’s see, Mr. Gramm, while the economy grows by 1%, inflation and gas prices are up how much?  Oh, that’s right, you probably wouldn’t know because you’ve been too couped up in your ex-executives of Enron golf tournaments.
