PA Bad for…McCain?
There was something little reported form Pennsylvania. While many in the media have tried to pump new life into the Clinton campaign, few reported on the PA Republican primary.
The race was over you say, McCain’s been the nominee for nearly two months. Right you are, the race in the Republican race is over. So, what’s the big deal?
25%
That’s the big deal. That’s the number of Republicans who voted for someone else, either Ron Paul or Mike Huckabee, even after Huckabee endorsed McCain.
The news here is that 25% of PA Republicans voted against John McCain.
This is a sign that John McCain certainly isn’t the wanted choice of 1/4 of the Republican Party.
If McCain only pulls 1/4 of the Republican vote in the fall…a lot of states come into play, and few battleground states would truly be ‘battlegrounds’ any longer.
