POLL WATCH: Missouri Close

A new SurveyUSA poll shows a tight race in MO as Obama holds a 2 point lead, 45-43.  Obama’s competitive as he is holding a huge lead in the St. Louis Metro Area. 

Still, this keeps MO is the “Toss-up” category.  As a state that has leaned a little right in recent elections, I’m a little surprised that Obama continues to be competitive and even leading in some polls here.  It seems that state of the economy is really on the minds of MO voters and John McCain may not be the answer.

Expect a lot of campaigning here as this is a state John McCain can’t lose.

George Bush won the state by 5 points in 2004.
