McCain Admits Off-Shore Oil Drilling Only "Psychological" Affect

Oh the way John McCain’s already digging his own grave on this issue.  While any avid reader knows my stance on off-shore oil drilling, the McCain campaign has tried to make the issue a winner as they believed they could convince voters that off-shore oil drilling would help their pain at the pump.
Well, John […]

D.C. Local: Obama to hold event in Metro Virginia Tomorrow, McCain on Monday

One of Obama’s most coveted red state switches is Virginia and its 13 electoral votes.  The state has been trending more and more Democratic and now has a Democrat (Jim Webb) in the Senate and a Democrat (Tim Kaine) in the governor’s mansion.  Fmr. Gov. Mark Warner is cruising to be the state’s second […]

Campaign Videos: Hillary ‘84

Over twenty years ago, Mac Computers made a big splash with their 1984 Orwell-like Super Bowl Ad.
As one of the most famous ads in history, it was only a matter of time before someone spoofed it in the political world.
This winter, an anti-Hillary supporter must have had a lot of time on their hands.  […]

Worst Political Ads: Ron Paul in New Hampshire

Ron Paul raised a lot of money.  You’d think, with his army of supporters, he’d be able to have a proper and good look ad.  He was running for President after all.
Instead, what did he come up with?
This high class ad.  I think it had the worst acting this side of a C-grade horror […]

Clinton Wins West Virginia…

In the least climactic race of the season, West Virginia has gone for Hillary Clinton.  Looking at the exit polls, it may get very close to that 40 point margin that I predicted yesterday.
In even less shocking news, 20% of West Virginia voters openly admitted that race was important to their vote.  These […]

Carville: Obama Likely to Win

According to The Greenville News in South Carolina, James Carville, the staunchest Clinton ally out there, has finally admitted that Obama is likely to be the democratic nominee.  At that time, he’ll be sure to write Obama a check.
As far as who should be his running mate, he floats four names: Clinton herself, Gen. […]

MoveOn’s Obama Ad

MoveOn, who has endorsed Obama, held a contest where regular people would submit their own Barack Obama ad.
Here’s the winner, playing up the “I’m a Republican, and I’m voting for Barack Obama” type ad.
According to MoveOn and NBC News, it’s going to air in CO, OH, and WI.

Overall, I think it’s just ‘okay.’  […]

Funniest Campaign Videos: Joe Biden Attacks Rudy Giuliani

After yesterday’s Mitt Romney terrorism ad, I figured I’d follow it up with one of Joe Biden’s best moments from the campaign.
Here, Biden attacks Rudy Giuliani, explaining the diction of Giuliani in every sentence he speaks:

It’s good to see that SNL still has it.  There’s nothing to even say here except, if you want a laugh, take a look.

Operation Chaos

Rush Limbaugh, the wonderful man that he is, has been trumpeting this notion of operation chaos for weeks.
The theory: Republicans should cross over to vote in the Democratic Primary.  There, they should vote for Hillary Clinton, because it’s the only way to make sure that it looks like Hillary Clinton is still winning, thus […]

John McCain Didn’t Vote For W?

There’s an amazing article over at the Huffington Post this afternoon, in 2000, John McCain nor his wife, Cindy, voted for George W. Bush.
I guess if you call someone the illegitimate father of a black child and accuse his wife of doing drugs and selling them to children, as W did to John McCain and […]

D.C. Madam Suicide Note

A few days ago, we posted the news that the DC Madam, the woman who ran the prostitution ring that has bloodied the waters for many a Washington politician, had committed suicide.  I also posted my initial conspiracy based skepticism.
Well, today, more news is in.  The contents of her supposed suicide note are in.  […]

IN and NC Prediction Time

LAST MINUTE UPDATED PREDICTIONS: Obama now by 8 in NC, Hillary’s win down to 6 in IN!
That’s right, if it’s Monday, it’s Primary Prediction Time!
Last time, I don’t think I did so bad, predicting a 7 point Hillary victory in Pennsylvania.  (She ended up winning by 9 points.)
This time, we’ve got the last […]
